For a few weeks my mom, aunt and myself have been volunteering at a library. It's been an adventure so far.

The first day we cleaned the table off of 75-100 VHS tapes. The second week we cleaned off a side table, moved furniture and fixed some broken frames, with some of our own money.

This past week, the library custodian, vacuumed the room, took out the garbage/recycles... threw out an old fashion huge box TV and moved the flat screen television. What I don't get is that they took the tv off the stand it came with. I just don't understand his decision, given that we were able to move the television with the stand.

I ended up having to screw the stand back onto the television and then my mom and i put it on the cabinet with the VHS/DVD player. We don't even know if the DVD player works. I guess once we have batteries we can test it out next week, just to see if it works so we know if we need to buy a new machine in the future.

I also cleaned up around the computer section. The room was closed since March 2020 and there was a lot of garbage...from food/napkins, paper etc. My mom and aunt filed papers and what-not in the filing systems. The room looks amazing. I thought it would take a half year to look like that, but I guess the more people who work on the room (3 people) it goes faster.
