I just got back from Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (for the 4th time. xP). It was as funny as ever, though I saw some part differently.

There ARE some spoilers a bit ahead, so if you haven't seen the movie, stop reading now/skip this bit.




1. Jack deserved to be taken down by the Kraken. Although he is not dead. Jack owed a debt to Davy Jones (*swoons*), and he should have paid it. ALSO--the debt is settled, quote from Davy--"Jack Sparrow. Our debt is settled." So Jack is off the hook for now, I believe.

2. BOOTSTRAP BILL CHOSE HIS FATE. He CHOSE to serve on the Flying Dutchman. He didn't have to. So why should Will free him from a fate that his father CHOSE? It does not make sense, and is not honorable in the least. Keep promises, people. Will might, but so should Bootstrap.

3. WILL DOES NOT NEED TO KILL DAVY TO FREE HIS FATHER!! When a man holds the heart of Davy Jones, he can make Davy Jones do whatever he wishes. In short, Will can just possess the heart, and demand for Davy to set his father free. MUCH better than killing him, no?

4. When Elizabeth chained Jack to the ship, she was doing the right thing. She saved innocent lives, so there would be a third movie. I, personally, do not like the way she distracted the Captain, but one supposed death is better than 6 definite deaths.
