Chapter Two: The Start
(just to let ya know the 1st chappie was kinda a poem, but this 1 isn't)
I paced back and forth before deciding to head home. Once I got there, there was all sorts of questions; why are you home so early?, where's Inuyasha?, What happened?, are you okay?. And what not. I ignored them and kept on walking upstairs to my room. I almost made when my mom stepped in front of me.
"Kagome Yovenne!(Her middle name, not last. And yes I made it up.) You answer me right this secound!"
I felt like coving my ears, after all she was shouting, when she was RIGHT in front of me. "Mom, if you must know Inuyasha just broke up with me!" I stood there, not crying, just starring at her.
She looked at me as if she were expecting me to cry. And, I would have, except, it felt like I had no more tears to cry for today. 'But just wait until tomorrow!' I waited calmly for her to move.
We stood they like insane losers for about another fifteen secounds, before I said, "Uh, mom, can I go to my room now?" She stared at me, then stepped a side. I walked up to my room and laid onto my bed. I thought about what had happened. Sometime between me thinking and Souta coming in and waking me up, I fell asleep.
"Sis, mom told me to come and ask you if you're ready to eat."
"So, ask already."
"grrrr........ Are you ready to eat?"
"No."
"......"
"I'm just playing, tell her I'll be down in a secound."
"Okay sis, meet you down there."
"Uh huh." Souta raced out of my room as if it were on fire. 'Crazy little boy.' I got up lazily and started to walk down to to the kitchen. On the way I passed grampa's room, he was looking at scolls. "Hey grampa."
"Hello youngster. Do you wish to read the scolls with me?"
"No thank you grampa, I'm just going down to eat dinner."
"Well be on your way then." I could tell he was a little hurt, any other time he knew I would, I usaully do. I just wasn't in the mood right now.
"Sorry."
"Off with you! Your suppers gettin' cold."
"See ya later."
"......" He was reading again. I continued down the stairs.
"Hey mom?"
"Yes dear?"
"Um, could I talk to you alone for a sec?"
"Yes, of course!"
