so last time i touched on how the whole border time could have gone
but there's more

so uh
one where's she's medicated into forgetting zack/thinking that he's an imaginary friend
- except since medication doesn't really affect her (nor do poisons lol) so uh
i'm guessing she wants to not disappoint her parents, so there's some sort of self-hypnosis going on
also a lot of disassociation too ; v;

or
the one where:
instead of just medicating, she gets stuck in a mental institution (i imagine she gets a bit hysterical b/c uhh technically how real are her parents?? like they may exist separately from her & ew!aku's machinations but like... they aren't her real parents and i think some part of her recognizes that even if she never remembers it)
(also in both scenarios it directly follows the hyuse/melronc world summoning thing so uh the parents have reason to be worried - usually alice doesn't just disappear for 2 months)
and ofc alice can't hold on,, in an area where there's nobody to hold on to;
and she ends up in the Other Side with zack
ok this is a murder party situation
scion happens but they stay on bet and y'know have an area of protection
and branch out into earth gamma too (the earth where i have ames & skitter & co. trying habitate on; with some not very friendly human locals lol) (i think i'm taking a bit of cues from canon ward?? idk haven't read any of it lol)

and eventually alice gets back to her world (grace & dragon & co figure out a solution; doormaker helps too i suppose) but like...
not through death
and so there's a bit of time messiness - i think she arrives on that earth at the same point of time directly following ew!aku's weird memory erase & ressurrection of her
so technically she exists at two places at the same timeframe??

and she goes to japan & ends up at mikado city
she's like 18 or smthg & idk not attached to the hip with zack?
altho technically they weren't before lol

and with her therapist's (hunny,, after a string of ones when she was a kid, somehow after the whole earth bet mess she meets him?? idk) (she knows him in the context of 'the other me' & her dysfunctional relationship with that hunter - in the zombie apocalypse world) suggestion to perhaps make a new connection (i.e. a kid) & thinking of how much zack changed in the process of taking care of her (even tho it was mostly in small spurts)... she ends up adopting yuichi (idk when he was orphaned in canon but for this, it's when he's 10)

she's still not very put together but when she decides to do something... she does it. (see the whole kill jack slash thing lol)
