ok i know i did a ton of posts about her before

but did i ever figure out what i'd do about her suicide attempts during her time a border??
b/c i do have some aus where she continues "visiting" zack & co;
as well as some where it's really just visiting b/c dragon & miss grace & etc figured out a world travel to alice's world like dr. haywire's invention but more encompassing & reliable
and then there's the possibility where alice doesn't visit him at all??

so there's this one where it's the 3rd one
but like her mental health isn't all that great?? even if border peeps are all super supportive (esp her team & people she interacts with)

so uh
what if
she tries one of her jumpy things
and then yuichi figures out there's something wrong (even if her existence makes his future seeing a bit whack; probs from seeing something in future involving someone else,, maybe even everyone else)
and meets her on the roof;
but she (smiles and) jumps and he doesn't quite react straight away - in shock
like i guess he was talking to her and it seemed alright? and it just felt so sudden??
and like he does end up catching her so it doesn't end up in her death (and subsequent revival & memory loss) but uh
she ends up in the hospital

and like she stays there for a while (getting her out of the way, so to speak, of world trigger canon first few months... also before that some too lol b/c before mikumo joined)
mostly for the sake of her mental health
and b/c she doesn't really let her bones/body heal

and she goes to see a bunch of therapists
and most of them don't believe her about the Other Side

and finally Hunter (who gets a liscence specifically to help her, but also ends up helping her kids who are less vocal maybe?? selectively mute??) ends up becoming her therapist
and he gets her acclimated with using swords (ren really liked fighting even if she started it as a way to earn her right to die) (also i'm having alice's inability to use kogetsu/swords here be not b/c of ken-chan, but because of hidden trauma from being forced to skewer her shishou & being lied to/left behind;; even if there's no way she remembers it but swords are ... just too much)
so hunter teaches alice how to kenjutsu using wooden sticks at first and in a less high stress situation than just going at it with ew!aku lol


so uh there's a parallel in this au with hunter & yuichi
who both tried to catch ren/alice
and they both sort of suceeded
but the underlaying issue isn't solved with that
and they both feel guilt at not being to do more

and like kei probably feels guilt at just...not being available...
and everyone who is in the know about the attempt probably just.... well, they want to help her and want her to come to them for help and like.
let her heal at her own pace?? i mean they were defo trying beforehand

(also i just learned that torimaru was also team tachikawa?? uhhh i guess i'm making him more familiar with alice here too; it explains why i have alice call him torimaru instead of going all karasuma-san lol)
(so that means riren & alice weren't on the squad at the same time, but they still know each other pretty well?? even alice thinks of her more as kei's sister & milia's friend than just her own friend haha...)
