Why the ******** is modifying UI so tedious. Like for css in web sites you can just change stuff on the fly, but for applications? No, you have to recompile every god damn ******** time. In some cases if you've clicked a setting that's preserved between builds that you can't undo you have to clobber and redo the whole build which takes like 30 ******** minutes. Holy s**t. What a set back.
I want to get started on the functionality but I'm busy getting the UI in order cuz the right UI is almost as essential as the functionality in this project. Plus I think the functionality will take very little time, but I'm notoriously bad about time estimates. Nevertheless I'm gonna have to redo all of this when I go back to the linux build, and don't even get me started on the Mac build ffs.
