Hiya, I'm `Atar-alassiel! I'm 20 and I live in Greater Manchester, England. But you know what, I could talk about myself all day and not get anything done. So right now I'm going to voice my opinion on the new layout and the other updates that we've had recently.

When I first came to Gaia, the header was still pink and bubbly. Very girly in my opinion and I think people wanted a change. The layout change shocked them though and then everyone was saying how confusing it was. I suppose there's no pleasing some people. But anyway, everyone in the GCD was excited and it seemed like the forum had awoken from a long deep sleep. As soon as it happened there was an outrage and many people freaked out! I know I did. I was just happily posting in a guild before the England game came on and then bam! I'm hit with a huge white light! My eyes died that day I think. burning_eyes

But then I got used to it. While some people continued to complain. A lot of people protested and actually left Gaia. Why the hell are you that bothered? To me it's not that big of a deal! Get over it and stop your whining! I absolutely love the new emotes that the admins put in after the layout uproar! They fit the complaining and the type of people that post in Forums.

My next point is about the tour and starter sets for the newbies. Do they actually read the tour? Ever since this update, which has made navigation easier, I have seen more misplaced threads than ever! The GCD is turning into the Chatterbox/Gaia Towns Forum/Avatar Talk Forum....>.< Now that's not insulting the GCD because that's like my home xD. But seriously the amount of "None discussion" threads that I have seen there lately has been crazy. This easier navigation also makes it easier for trolls to post in the wrong places!

The starter sets are wonderful. If I had that when I joined, I probably would have stayed forever. I left after I joined for a while because I didn't have anything cute like everyone else did. That idea was perfect to keep newbies here!
