Walking away from the store, I clutched my sword.


It was the only thing I had to remember my parents by.


Before they died by a blood thirsty demon, they gave me the sword so I could fend for myself.


I remember it clearly, as if it was just yesterday. At first everything was like always; we were all happy.


The only thing different about it was, my brother was out.


I was helping my mom cook dinner and my dad was setting the table.

My Mom was telling me to be careful with the knife I was holding, when all of a sudden the door opened to a dark figure.



A split second later, blood was everywhere.

My mother was instantly gone.

I was against the back wall when I saw my father dragged himself up to me.


He handed the sword to me but I would not move.


I was to scared I couldn’t even lift a finger.

The only movement I made was the clattering of my teeth and my body shaking.

The next thing I new he was gone just like mom. I heard someone coming closer to me.


Shaking I looked up. With horror in my eyes, I knew I couldn’t take it anymore.


“AAHHH!” I screamed


I was crying. Sniffing I asked “Why? Why would you do such a thing?”

The person standing in front of me was my own brother. No he was not my brother, he was a monster.
