Why must every person have an opposite? Why is it that one such as myself who has some shred of intelligence, sanity (compared to my adversary), and common sense has an opposite, an opposing force?
I live my life, trudging along life's path, trying to figure out my reason for existence, when all of a sudden a troglodyte finds it's way into my home. I have can do nothing except accept it in my home, for my mother forces me to, and must bow to the will of this most selfish of selfish creatures. Why is it that a creature of limited intelligence, lacking finesse, or any common sense continues to best me in a battle of wits? Why am I powerless to him, is it because of the power he has over my mother who is weak towards the opposite sex?
I try to live my life, trudging along life's path, trying to figure out my reason for existence when all of a sudden I am taken aside, and given the options: leave, kill, or die. I try to figure out this most confusing of puzzles. Why am I needing to leave? Is it to avoid the coming disaster when I and this most dissagreeable of creatures have our epic battle; our fight to the death? If I leave, am I seen as a coward, or am I avoiding the future life of one who is imprisoned for doing the right thing?
Life is what it is, and if I must do what I must to follow suit in what I must. I will do it, even if it is seen as wrong- or cowardly. I will do what I need to, to fulfill my deepest desires, to keep on living without such a beastly of a creature.
