So...yesterday I was making dinner (Good dinner, very good dinner, Mexican Rice and taquitos, all homemade.) while Zach was playing Oblivion (Good game, very good game, sweet graphics...annoying soundtrack.).

I didn't wish to have him break up his gaming during a crucial storyline moment, to come eat at the table, so I set the pot of rice down on the carpet next to him.

Yeah....

*Kicks self*

So, after dinner, I'm clearing the dishes from the floor, and I realise that the pot is stuck to the carpet. Zach pulls up on the pot, and removes it.

However, now there is a very distinct plasticy burn on the carpet. It's perfectly round, and has an indentation of the company that made the pot.

And I have to tell the apartment manager.
