My actions don't match my words
The advice I've given is never followed
And yet, I'm not satisfied with myself
Going against everything I've said
And living as it applies to myself
I can never seem to keep a straight mind
My head spins when I bring it to my attention
Easily annoyed with myself and anyone else
There's nothing to blame but my own choices
The ones that got me here rather than there
The ones that went against my own words
I play it off as my normal routine
But everynow and then when my thoughts win
I slip into a silent dispair and remain tucked away
I've learned to control what isn't meant to be seen
But I just need to redo what's been done
Something so simple like that won't happen
I'll always tell you to reach for the stars
While my arms stay at my sides and I remain a hypocrite.
