An apple and an orange done for art class to represent the colors red and orange for my children's art book on the colors:

I had a particularly challenging time trying to determine how to make the orange more textured, since unlike the apple, it's skin is not smooth. Using airbrush on SAI, I added tiny pores of a darker color. I studied real fruits to get these pictures.
