"Thank you for paying attention to me".. have I not been paying attention all along? That moment keeps playing over and over in my head. I guess I have not. Staying in the same room is not the same as spending quality time together.

I was caught by surprise by that and I wondered what else would I be surprised by. But I never followed though.
