Summer sweet and Summer past
It went by just way to fast
I was here and you were there,
We understood it was not fair.
Summer gone and summer lost
Do you understand the cost?
Your love is gone, it is no more.
Sudden as a slamming door.
Did you play, or were you real?
You do not know just how I feel.
You talk about your new guy
Making summer seem a lie.
It lasted all about a year
But I was left with just a tear.
I will always hate the winter,
Always despise the cold.
Never again will the sight of snow fill me with joy.
For that cursed season of cold
Will always be remembered
As the death
Of my Summer.
