xxxThere they were again. The eyes peering out from the mirror across from my bed. They never blinked they just stared and every now and then, they'd shift as if someone were within the mirror, staring at me, watching as I slept. Whenever I would move so would they, following me. That was, until it reached forth from the mirror. It's pale hands had dark, sharp looking talons curved to perfect points. The talons looked as if they could rip, tear, and maul. They reached toward me. Then they were on me. I tried to pull away but they were under my flesh peeling it away from the bone. A scream tore up my throat as they...

xxxThat was when she woke up. She clutched at her arm, bounding off of her bed and she raced across the room to flick on the light. There was nothing and no one in her mirror, she checked twice. She looked at her arm, where it was throbbing and she saw long red welts stretching from shoulder to wrist. She winced as she touched them lightly. She couldn't believe it. They were real and not a figment of her overactive imagination.
