Reminiscing- It Pays to Be Old
Looking back on my past journal entries, particularly from 6th and 7th grade, (which I have deleted, due to their humiliating nature) I realize how immature and dumb I was. It is such a relief to know I have changed so much and am not a complete idiot anymore! Thank goodness I am older and have open eyes!

I was too weird for my own good. It was unhealthy. And while I dreaded reading all those entries, shocked at my audacity to be so ridiculous and socially awkward, two things caught my eye that I still find kind of nice today. Both were from one of my several entries full of blogthings.com quiz results. Here they are:

You Are Fall!
Thoughtful
Expressive
Creative
Poetic
Smart

Your New Year's Resolutions Should Be
1) Get a pet hairless cat
2) Eat less stale popcorn
3) Travel to Korea
4) Study taxidermy
5) Get in shape with naked yoga

I thought it was nice knowing that I will never grow tired of the beauty of Autumn, and all the things that it represents and that describe me so well. Maybe it's just nostalgia, or me wishing for cooler weather, but it honestly made me smile.

As for the New Year's Resolution results, it simply cracked me up. I like hairless cats, I hate stale popcorn, I LOVE Korea, taxidermy..... no, naked yoga: it doesn't sound that bad. I was mostly excited about the Korea thing, though. Considering it wasn't until a month ago that I fell in love with it, I like that I got this result when I probably didn't even know where Korea was, and couldn't care less anyways.

Well, that's enough delving into the past for today.
