Today is the day or silence.
I choose not to say a word.
The silence is killing me,
But it is only 10:20 a.m.
No words for me,
It’s a bit of a challenge.
My friends and I go around writing “I love gays” on things.
“I love LBGTs” can also be seen.
Written on my right upper arm is “I ♥ gays!” in sharpie.
There are a lot of people talking today,
And it’s sort of bugging me.
I’m not judging them, as I know they’re like me, talkative.
I feel I should have worn a mask,
But I guess doing without will have to do.
There are only a few people participating, it seems,
But I guess it’s better than no one.
I hope everyone will accept gays, lesbians, bisexuals, even transgender as part of the world population.
I just wonder how long the world would take to accept them.
