I hate it every time they look at me.
Every time I turn my head at them, they look the other way, as if I'm invisible to them, and when I turn back, I can feel their stares burn a hole into my skull.
It sickens me to my very core.
I can hear their words of judgement plague my mind, I can feel their sneers, jeers, and cruel points all aimed at me.
How is it that I'm their target of humiliation? Has society already agreed on a specific way of life that somehow I differ from? Last time I checked, this place was the land of the free, not the home of judgement.
So what if I'm different? Is that so wrong? Each one of us has something that sets us apart from others, from the way we dress to the way we handle ourselves in public and at least I'm not one of the ones too afraid to show it. If anything, if they want to point their fingers of judgement on someone, it should be themselves. They don't know how to set themselves apart from being the same thing.
Besides, they're too scared to have bright red hair in public.
