Rei stared out the window dreamily. It had been how long since she left Dnalgne again?
"6 months..." she whispered almost in audibly and stood up, catching the teachers attention.
"Miss Kunisaki may I ask what's wrong?" Mrs. Nuahguag, the science teacher asked sternly. Rei didn't need to answer, for all Mrs. Nuahguag was greeted was by the ringing of the class beel, singnaling that class was over. Rei packed up her stuff and smirked.
"See ya" she said mischeviously as she left the school grounds." Whew! That was close..." she mumbled as she turned into an alley way and lit a fireball in her hand. "Now that the humans aren't here, how about you come on out Mr.Stalker?" she said playfully drawing out the enemy. Reluctantly the "Stalker" came out and opened a portal. "Oh? So it's a game of hide-and-seek? I'm game."
Rei stepped into the portal and landed in a dark forest. "Come out Come out wherever you are..." she yelled and jumped back. A strange man in a long cloak stood before her and had nonchalantly touched her cheek. "WHOA!" she yelled as ask tripped. The man simply laughed at her and came closer, touching her head.
Rei's entire life with the Elemental's sped pass her...turning into nothing anymore. She screamed as she saw her old friends playing and laughing in her head, enjoying there life and having fun.
"You see Rei, your so-called friends." The man said, injecting venom in his voice. "Are nothing but a memory, a flitting illusion, nothing but a dream." With this he laughed evilly and smirked.
"YOUR WRONG!" she yelled in response
"And you. Are nothing but the Prince of Madness, destined to find the Element stones without the Elementals, and to be tied to the darkness. You don't need those girls you called your companions. They only used you, now tell me this...Do they still talk to you?" he asked
"Yes..." she asked not so surely
"Do they still call?"
"Yes...no..."
"Do they still care?"
"Yes...they do! And they always have!!" she yelled, eyes turning scarlet red
"Your lying...." he answered and blocked Rei from all her memories with the Elementals. All he left were her memories of the worlds, of her powers, and her demon heritage.
"Now Rei, answer me again. Do they still care?"
"No....no..they don't..." she sobbed and with that the man dissapeared leaving Rei unconcious in the world.
10 hours later
Rei woke up in a small camp, full of demons, in front of a fire. One demon with fox ears and a tail like hers, came up to her and smiled.
"I see your up. Sleep well boy?" he asked with a sile, joking with the girl he hadn't met. "I'm Kuramata Kurapikano. Or just Kura-Kura for short." Rei sat up realizing she was wearing different clothes, boys clothes to be exact. She looked at the boy and realized that he looked the same age as her, but you can never tell with demons. He had blonde hair and blue eyes, with very light tan skin. She also realized the boy looked feminine, and could be easily mistaken a girl. They had quite alot in common. "Hello? You still sleeping?"
Rei shook her haid and smiled. "I'm Reiki Kunisaki. Rei for short." she answered shaking his hand and hitting him lightly. "AND I'M a GIRL!" she told him
Rubbing his head Kura Kura looked at Rei. "Yeah, yeah I know. I mean c'mon. What guy would wear the clothes you were wearing when we found you?Besides now that your hear your gonna hae to pretend to be a boy" he said laughing, he was very cheerfull so it wouldn't get him down. " Like I said I'm Kura-Kura, I'm the King of Demon Theives . In this world your gonna have to pretend to be a boy.What's up?"
"Okay, I guess cross-dressing isn't that bad. And King of Demon Thieves? You? Amazing. Well Kura-Kura, one question." Rei said getting up.
"Yeah?"
"Where are we?!"
