This is a poem I found. I wrote it in 12th grade, for an Extra Credit assignment. If I remember correctly, I was studying Sylvia Plath at the time. But the poem was still about me. Now that I think of it, I'm not sure I remember who its about. Please enjoy "Four," and know that I am NOT depressed, I promise. XD I just found it and kind of felt like posting it. Now if only I could find "She"...
Four
My heart had once a place reserved for you
Such that none other love could have compared
With the strength and care which proved pure and true.
Against you no other man would have faired.
But then to bitterly cold stone it turned
Cause your reservation was rejected.
It shook me so my heart gave way to scorn
And then to grief, and now, alas, it’s dead.
Now I can’t recognize my emotions
Because since you, my soul has feelings lacked,
And toward you has not once made a notion.
And so I beg you shatter this cold stone
If heartbreak will make me human alone.

Welcome to my journal! I've decided to put this thing to good use by putting some of my heart here. I mostly write in my blue periods, so they may mostly seem sad. But I assure you, I am... for the most part in pretty good shape. I want to thank you
