I'm spending more time writing *about* Clere than actually writing it these days. Some kind of mortal fear of committing to something on paper, I suppose. Maybe I'll finally be able to type instead of handwrite?

But either way, I hadn't realised I knew so little about how Ramy's powers were going to work. I knew she had a more powerful sort of magic available to her, being her race and all, but I didn't even think (recently anyway) about what it actually was. Yesterday in a fit of summarising plot, I worked it out on accident. Yay~ And it makes a lot of sense, plus leaves some pondering open about just how her race popped up and where they're actually from. Ancestral race of the others who are still around somewhere? That's much more likely than being what happens when you get a lot of racial intermixing, especially considering how easily she and Kor have kids, and how difficult it is for other interracial marriages. (As far as that's been tested, anyway - kendri *always* have it difficult with famiketh.)

Anyway. Something to think about. But I still haven't WRITTEN anything. xp
