Today...is a very sorrowful day....when I woke up today...my mom said that "It was time" and I knew what she ment. Our 16 year old Siamese Cat, had to be put down....*sniff*.....originally...we were suppose to be at the vets by around 11 but mom thought that it'd be best to go there early so she made an appointment to go to another vets at 8:30.

I started up the car so that it could be warmed up after I got dressed and waited for mom to get our cat. It didn't take long and soon we were off to the vets.....Once there, we payed for the fine and went into a room where we were going to put our cat down. After a while, the doctor came in, told us what she was going to do until Mom told her to "just get it over with."

I was sitting in a chair when this was happening, our cat hissed at the doctor and bit her which made her call out for another vet to come help, soon as helped arrive, she gave our cat the shot and before long......he fell silent. I got up and took hold of mom's hand as the doctor listened to our cat's heartbeat and soon said "He's Gone." That's when I bursted into tears, I held on to my mom as the doctor left and we stayed there until we were finally able to calm down....I think my mom took it the worst since she's been with our cat longer than me. But this was the first time I had actually cried because the first death, was my great aunt, practically everyone was crying and I was just as calm as ever as me and my mom went up to the cascet to see my aunt.

But this was different, I have witnessned death, and now, I am digging a grave for our cat. Mom as found a box for him to be in while I will try to dig the hole deep enough for it...so farewell Pi...you've been a valuable member of the family and me and my mom will miss you for years yet to come crying crying crying crying
