I feel great. And, it's not because I just got out of a relaxing shower.
Throughout the four months Rebecca and I have been dating, she's started going through some pretty emotional things. And, as you all know, it's typically the boyfriend's job to make the girlfriend feel better. Well, that's been tough for me. It seemed like no matter how hard I tried, she'd just never quite get 'better'. The problems would continue to haunt her, which would then have the very same problems haunting me, trying to think of a way to resolve them, or at least, help.
Well, today is the day I get over that petty feeling. Today is the day I 'get over myself'. No more self-pity. It all stops. Right here, right now.
Rebecca wrote a poem. The most amazing poem I've ever read. And, I'm not just staying that because it's about me. That's biased. You may take a gander at it, to see for yourself. In her journal. Anyway, this poem expresses how much I really have helped her. How much I have helped her get better. It sent thousands of chills up and down my spine. Good chills, mind you. I haven't felt this great in a long time. This great about myself. And, I owe it all to her. I never could've overcome this with any other girl. I really do love her. More than anything in the world.
I just wish I could write a poem to express these things. Ohwell.
