Well another day on Gaia, which mainly means getting some money, and spending it. Is it so different from the real world? Ha, but there are many ways to make a heap of money here...I will admit my ignorance and say I was just too damn stupid to try out things, instead I wasted my time playing blackjack, and trading trash on the marketplace. But hey! No serious consequences here ! So I'm doing good smile . I believe that my constant focus on Gaia money is a little overrated, since everyone seems to be begging for more gold. Maybe I was a little too overzealous in thinking it was only me....shame shame shame. I cry myself to sleep. But no more! I believe I can safely say that I can move off of the subject of money, but not without these few tips for my fellow beginner readers.
1) After three days of your accounts creation, get five hundred gold ( A good way to start out is either by playing constant puzzles, cards, and zOMG) and buy a trading pass. This will become your greatest friend throughout the site, eventually you will forget you have it. ( I didn't remember it until I tried to trade with my girlfriend who was only 1 Gaia Day old and it bluntly told me she had no trading pass...then the flashbacks began)
2) Trading can be a good sorce of profit... just observe what price others are selling it for, and try to make it as low as possible but where you still make a valueable profit. Sometimes when you don't have profit in mind, sell useless things such as trash in large quantities and for small prices. People do buy them, and quantity is very much appreciated. And people will put it to good use
3) If you want to maintain a steady profit, play zOMG at least once a day. Even in the beginning you make at least 2000 an hour. I am not that far in the game but I suspect that the harder the enemy the more gold you get for defeating it. But I'm not sure so don't quote me.
