We must admit to ourselves, half-heartedly or whole-heartedly, that it is a universal fact that everything comes with a bad side. Everything, from a molecular dust to the vast discoveries and knowledge we hold today has good and bad sides. Even being good has a bad side too. To have something good, there must be something bad.
Life is not something meant to be forever inclined to goodness. There are times when people must mix to their attributes a drop of badness. To be capable of resistance, something bad must be done. If you are purely good then you would be subjected to evil deeds from time to time. When everyone chooses to be extremely good and nothing evil, the world will be a boring place to stay and someone cannot say ‘good’ because he/she does not have an opposite for this certain word. When everybody becomes bad, the same thing happens, one can never say ‘bad’ because he holds no knowledge of a word opposite to this.
God created everything; He meant everything that happened in history. He created evil. I find Him as a magnificent creator for the reason that He never planned the world to be monotonous. He created balance to let us have things and another. He made life wonderful and meaningful with all its twists and colors. If you think that God makes lives bad, you are wrong; He just adds color to the wheel of life.
To have something, you must know the opposite of that something. As what it says in one of my favorite songs, “It takes the one to have the other”. If you are going to analyze further and balance all the facts about the world, you would surely come to this conclusion and therefore, be enlightened to what life really is and how He meant it to be.
