No matter how hard I tried,
He never noticed me.
No matter how loud I cried,
He was never there for me.
One day I went to his house
For his birthday
He was having a party
And I thought ''This is my chance''
I happily skipped along the sidewalk
Not noticing what was in store for the very near future
After everyone arrived he went upstairs
And again,
I thought ''This is my chance''
I went upstairs not too long after him
I wanted to give him his present alone.
I had gotten him something he had always wanted...
Something he had always wanted.....
I knocked on his bedroom door, and no reply came back.
Once again, I knocked on the door.
Still no reply.
Worried I opened the door to see something that stopped my breathing.
Another girl was already there,
And I don't feel I need to explain what I saw.
Standing there shocked I mouthed 'I'm sorry.'
With tears in my eyes I ran from the room, from the house, from my feelings.
I just wanted to crawl in a hole and hide there.
Forever.
