Would he slay the dragon no knight could best?
Would he move the mountain no group could pass?
Would he solve the problem no mage could fathom?
Would he do the things that no man has ever done?
The answer to all of these is yes!
The fiery beast would fall to the noble squire.
The mountain would flee from his sight when met with his love.
The unfathomable riddle, a mere children's song in the mind of this man.
Nay, not even perhaps the gates of Hell could withstand
the strength given to a man who quests for his love.
Demons shriek at his presence for they know his goal is pure.
Angels sing praises of his nobility, despite his humble birth.
The invincible knight willingly dismounts and offers up his blade, for he
knows that victory is impossible.
Kinds bow their heads to this man, for the prize he seeks
is more valuable than all their treasures.
Man a woman seeks him, but only one is sought by him.
He willingly sheds his blood so that she need not shed a tear.
All these things for the humble minstrel seeking the noble girl.
