don't take this story literally, i just felt like writing it
looking down the street, nothing but snow but it feels as though it was the middle of the desert. fear guilt. memories of what had happened here.
the trying times and dying times.
a few years back, enough that my memory of the story is a bit off, i had heard of a girl who had... abandonment issues i guess you could say. felling like everyone had deserted her. not trusting anyone. thinking that everyone was lying about everything, . now for someone in elementary school this is odd, to have a kid that age, with enough trama in there life to not trust anyone, it's almost unheard of. not surprising to most is the fact that this girl had been raised up in a family that did not get along at all. or at least not all that well. as she grew older she changed but somehow, no matter how hard she tried, she could not change the was she felt, she truly wished in her hart to trust people, but she could not. she thought that maybe just maybe, if her family got along better than everything could change. but she was the youngest of 3 children. she was weak and could not speak out to try and help things get better. she used every wish on her birth day for things to get better. the only seamed to get wers for a time. till finally it was the summer of 2009, she would be starting hr first year of high school. she could see in her parents, that they finally starting to get along, her family was becoming happier and she thought to herself, finally, they are getting along, they are happy with each other, sadly there was one member of her family that did not seam to sher her thoughts, her brother. it seamed that in his mind he was expecting a fight to break out between her parents anytime, he could not stand the fighting, and the stress of being in the next room over from it was wearing, or rather had worn so fare into his nerves that he could not find peace even in the quietest of sanctuary. rather, he spoke with his girlfriend who lived in a different state, now the girl did not know what to make of this girlfriend, she heard nothing but good things about this girl from her brother, every time she heard him talking to him he was always happy, but the things she had heard from her family about this girl made her think
"she lives in a bad neighborhood, i looked up this place that he says she lives and it's full of bad people, the resin we won't let him go visit it because we are scared he'll get hurt" and " apparently her parents are constantly fighting to, they think they can help each other"
she did not know what to think. she did not want to see her brother hurt, but if they could help one another than who was she to stand in their way? but she could not help but be a little worried, his personality was changing, but she could not see for the better or for the opposite. and one day he scared her near death.
it was early in the morning, 1 am about. she had just gotten to bed after working on a project for a friend when her mother comes into her room and says " hay me and your dad will be back we got to go get your brother. he's in police custety"
"what!?" asked the girl nearly jumping out of bead
"it's nothing he just stayed out past curfew" said the mother
the thought at first that he had done something awful and was relived to hear that he had just stayed out a little to late. it made her think more about the way her brother might be dealing with the hole thing, her parents had just been getting along for a week or so, but still that was lounger than they had ever gotten along before, it was still new to them. she was the kind of person who gos wherever the wind carries her. she esaly adjusted to peoples personality and could change her character on the spot to help the mode to become better, she archived that after years. but maybe her siblings had not aquerd that trait, maybe they were still scared that anytime the fighting would break out again. how could she tell? how could she help?
a thought came to her, not a pleasant one. she remembered the one time that her "charictuer change" had worn thin, she had snapped and told her only friend at the time hat no one cared about her and that everyone was pretending to be her friend, and she never saw that friend again after that day, at least not that she could remember, and she also remembered that that friend would come to school on the days she was there with bruises and cuts, and had told her one that her dad would abuse her, she felt teribal, she felt as though she had broken the girls will and basically convinced the girl that no one did like her, and if she had died, she would have died with nothing left.
how could she help now? she didn't even deserve to be there, sher the family had problems but they loved each other, she decided, she would help even if that would not save her from going to hell, she would help the others
so that they wouldn't have to meat the same fate as her.
