Overall, I give the experience a 4 out of five tin cans.
The programming is fairly good for a Flash mini-game. Once the server issues are nailed down, this will be a fair time waster.
I took the frugal route and bought the basic 100 gold rod and a bag of the cheap bait. Taking the advice from the forum posts, I stayed at Bass'kin Lake and learned the mouse moves for the pole. I finished my first round in about 17 minutes and caught 10 fish, two tin cans and a boot. Not bad for a cheap date.
