Open your eyes to the darkest mystery,
Awaking in shadows in a cemetery,
Casted tears upon your lonesome face,
Lost within sorrow, a bloody disgrace,
Your memory fails within the pitch black dark,
Spiders, vermin, a future looking stark,
Blood covered hands, and blood stained eyes,
Is this the story of the one who dies?
Cobwebs and dusty tomb walls,
Folded fortunes, and littered halls,
Making your way through a decrepit tomb,
The peeking of light awakens you,
Rush forth to the thought of being free,
Hoping that you’ll be able to flee,
Don’t put your trust in the hope of light,
For darkness will always win the fight,
Crash, bang, and darkness resumes,
Shadow spirit looming over you,
Unconscious, unknowing, almost dead,
A heavy metal crowbar to the back of the head,
Why do you deserve this, why here do they keep,
Locked away in this dungeon in the deep,
Skulls and crossbones, blood matted hair,
Locked away to die in their cold dark lair,
There is no hope, there is no fight,
Years and years of unjust fright,
Slowly your life starts to slip away,
As you’re down on your knees starting to pray,
To a god, a deity, in which you never believed,
You pray that mercy is soon received,
Your request is denied, and a knife is suddenly plunged,
Deep into your chest, puncturing a lung,
Lying, struggling to breathe,
Your memories come back and you start to conceive,
All your bad pasts, all your transgressions,
You realize you shouldn’t have taken out your aggressions,
On people you love, on people you need,
And now you lay dying, on the floor you will bleed,
In the dirt, the dust, you pay your last dues,
Because to all who cared, you weren’t true.
