He was panting in the bathroom. "What's going on? I need to feed. That must be it! I'll go eat during lunch break." He ran out the bathroom. He saw Miki walking towards it. "Joseph? What's wrong?" He felt a bigger jolt.
"S-Stay away, Miki!"
"No. I wanna now what's wrong. Please, I can't handle this agony."
"Stay away from me!!!"
"No I----" It was too late. He threw her into the bathroom in a flash. He held her tight and slowly placed his cold, dead lips in her neck. "J-Joseph..." She felt the blood draining from her veins towards his mouth. She flushed, and fell on the ground. She fainted from blood loss. He wiped his lips, and as soon as his eyes turned back to normal, he carried her to the hospital, cleaning up the wound so that no one could find it.
Miki was on the hospital bed, her grandmother sitting right by her. "Grandma?"
"Miki! Are you okay?"
"What happened?"
"Joseph said that you were tired from school work, and didn't eat at all for a whole day from stress."
"Oh...Where's Joseph?"
"He's outside. He's very worried about you."
"Really? Can I talk to him alone."
"Of course! He brought you here without any help! He carried you here."
"Okay. Just let him in, please."
"Okay." She opened the door.
