Colorguard Story Chapter 1 Part 2

I showed up in Kharington Middle's Auditorium in my "Rockin Beavers" uniform. Although they aren't as pretty as "singsational Beavers"', whose girls get to wear a spaghetti strapped shiny red dress. However, I still looked good in my black pants and white tuxedo shirt with a shiny red vest.
Charlie Fingleton walked up to me, "Hey Anna-Leigh! Man, I'm glad I get a silver vest instead of red. My red hair wouldn't match too well." We started to laugh.
"Yo, Anna!" yelled Kory as she ran through the auditorium doors and onto the stage where Charlie and I were standing.
"Come to the dressing room with me. I need to do my hair."
We linked arms and ran off to the dressing rooms we had shared for our musical production of "Guys and Dolls", where she was the upright Sarah, and I was the raunchy Adelaide.
"Do you have any bobby pins?" she asked as we stood before the mirror. Her short brown hair had fallen out of the half-pony due to all her layers.
"I think there are still some stashed in the pencil holder on the desk," I said as I checked my own hair for imperfection.
"OMG! Kory!!!" I yelled, ecstatic.
"Erm?" she asked, with about 7 bobby pins poking out of her mouth.
"Look" I walked over to the wall, on its pale green wallpaper was written over a thousand messages form where Drama kids over the years had written theirs oaths, or merely just their name.
"Its what we wrote when it was our first year as a Rockin Beaver" Sure enough, the wall in front of me read:
"We've made the "Rockin Beavers"
That means we are not skeezers
We will never leavers
So we can become "Singsational Beavers"

"Oh yeah, I remember that," said Kory, now done with her hair, which had a big strand sticking out.
I couldn't help but laugh
"Ummm, Kor? You-"
"Not another word..." she muttered as we headed back to the stage.
"All right Beavers!" yelled Mrs. Walters as Kory and I joined the other 28 Rockin Beavers by sitting on the edge of the stage.
"It is now 8:45 and time to board the bus once again for a--"
"Rockin Beaver Tour!!!" we all yelled with her as we ran outside to the bus.
