You know yourself better than anyone else. Trust me. Please, don't do things you know are wrong, don't work, or that downsize you.
You are a strong person, and everyone will try to influence you.
your friends.
your enemies.
your families. Now, with families, they try to influence you for the good, and nomatter how much they try, there will be times you know that what they are doing is wrong.
Don't give in.
I don't care how many people in your family there are, how much you love them and want to make them happy, or how scared you'll "get in trouble" if you don't follow through.
They are not you.
Now, this doesn't mean "don't clean your room, don't eat vegetables blahblahblah."
This means if you don't want to apply to college A but you want to apply to college B, don't let them change your minds.
If you don't enjoy movie A when everyone else does, don't enjoy it. Movie B is probably much better.
There is no one stopping you, but yourself.
I know this may sound like I'm trying to preach, but I'm just wishing I had this information before I realized how much I needed it.
but then again, if you don't like what I'm saying, don't think about what I've written.
