I am the dog of a so-called "God".
I am in misery,hear my song.
The sirens of death are calling upon me.
But with disappointment,they see that I'm bleeding.
I'm already dead but walking and alive.
Fear and pain right here by my side.
I'm alone in the world.
That's all I've ever known.
And I've been silenced by my arrogent pride.
But still,right here I sing my song.
In silent cries and grim goodbyes,the fire is eternal.
I burn inside,and when I cry,I search the dark for comfort.
I see no one,my hope crashes down.
But then I felt a selfless glow, and took the time to turn around.
Suddenly I caught her stare.
A girl sitting right around the corner, waiting for me there.
She felt my tears and heard my pain-every feeling that I hid with shame.
So she broke my walls to hold me close.
And ever since,I'd stolen that glance,her light's been here to guide me.
I love her so.
And I hope she knows,that feeling's never dying.
