Summer turned to winter,
And winter turned to spring,
All but one was aware,
All but one.
The birds sang their songs,
The children were about and played,
The adults listened to the wind hum,
All but one did, all but one.
The dogs dug,
The swans swam,
The babies laughed for all to enjoy,
All but one, all but one.
For all but one were of the living,
For all but one did not know.
That, all but one was alive,
All but one.
People, inconsiderate towards death?
Unknowingly isolated to everyone?
Inconsequential?
All but one knows, all but one.
Mother nature.
