We have lost.
I can't say how, or when, but somewhere along the way, things changed. The world slowly began to deteriorate into madness. No one was safe, except for the few who we thought were crazy at first. They fled at the first signs. I wish I would have gone sooner, maybe I would be living in those rugged mountains now, living like humans once had long ago. I wish that were the reality I was faced with, not the now.
Then the violence began.
