okay.... so not quite a saga... my journal is messed up, and i hear if you add some entries, it goes back to normal. . . BUT - that still doesn't mean i cant relate the tale of the not quite, but still saga-like tale of the egg roll.

american-chinese food. yeah it's good. and sometimes, you'll see an egg roll mysteriously placed on the counter. like a giant... egg rolled... catipiller thing. it seems to have a life of its own as one suddenly notices its obscure and unseen movements, as it is now in the sink. i never knew how it got there... but it's there. and the mystery within this egg roll comes into play at about this time. normally, one would put an undesired egg roll DOWN the sink, rather than just in it. even when nothing else is in the sink. the egg roll, just seems so obscurely placed, and the most psychologically annoying part of it all, is nobody is doing a thing about it!!

you see, this egg roll has been in the sink for over three days. it just collects water... mimics the bunches one finds in the body of a catipiller... or gelatinous fat one finds in the folds of a more festivaly plump individuual... and still. nothing has been done. why?!?!?!? it's not like somebody's gonna eat it or something... and i doubt everybody's waiting for it to finally lose it's egg-rollish grip on the sink and slight into the dark oblivian we've come to know as disposal. i think, mostly, that everybody's just waiting to see what will become of the egg roll. i dunno.... it's just a perfectly good egg roll is awkwardly sitting on the counter... finds its way into the sink... and undiscernably slides into darkness, without notice from a single human being.... you snide little egg rolls... just what exactly do you think you're doing...

*edit - well, that seemed to do the trick. (i typed 'rink' instead of trick first... i just thought that was somehow worthy of note..)
