Went to South Carolina and a couple of other surrounding states for my cousin's wedding. ^_^ All links in this entry lead to pictures of my trip.
The ceremony was really nice. It was in a gazebo kind of thing. My cousin was crying as she came up the aisle. My younger cousin (the maid of honour) was crying a little, too. My mom was crying. My uncle was...LAUGHING.
rofl No, seriously, he was chuckling and he kind of leaned back (I was in the row behind him) and grinned at us. He's so weird.
xd We drove to Atlanta and went to the Georgia Aquarium. Saw some
colourful fish. Also saw
the whale shark,
beluga whales, and some
alligators. The price of admission is pretty steep, though. @.@
Also went to the Cyclorama near Atlanta to look at the Civil War rotating painting. Spiffy. No photography allowed inside, but there was a museum exhibit inside and also a
cannon outside.
Also went to a
former rice plantation in South Carolina for a house tour (kind of boring) and a marsh tour. Saw several
herons and other wildlife. It was
really pretty there. I even took a
picture of myself. rofl Finally, the last big event thing we went to was the Carolina Raptor Center. It was raining that day, so I couldn't take a lot of good pictures. D: Here's one of a
bald eagle, though. :3
The rest of the time was mostly family stuff, because I was with my parents, sister, and grandparents. @_@ I brought my brand new iPod Touch on the trip, but the wireless at the places we stayed kind of sucked. <_<; Also played a lot of Pokemon Pearl during the lot of downtime we had.
