To Juli heart
I watched you drive away,
chuckled at your bet with mother,
over who would cry first.
I waved with earnest
as the van sped away.
Walking into the house,
I turned,
closed the door behind me,
crossed the room,
walked down the hall,
and went into the washroom.
I dont know why I locked the door,
I was home alone.
I wonder who cried first.
Was it you?
Mom?
No,
it was probably me,
2 minutes after you drove away,
leaning against
the unnecessarily locked
bathroom door.
"Home" alone
and lonely.
I watched you drive away,
chuckled at your bet with mother,
over who would cry first.
I waved with earnest
as the van sped away.

closed the door behind me,
crossed the room,

and went into the washroom.
I dont know why I locked the door,

"Home" alone
and lonely.
