TIME HEALS

Lonely hearts cry out and sadness covers them,
with heavy clouds of unhappiness.
All the sadness all the pain never shall he love again.
Trust is broken into nothing more,
broken heart is evermore.
Together hearts cry out and happiness covers them,
with light clouds of joy.
All the sadness all the pain,
never shall it be again.
Time heals his broken heart and love settles in.
Longing

I stare into her eyes and see the sadness of years past,
I also see the joy of that accompanies it last.
I feel the pain that she does but I know it is much more,
for though I am youthful I can understand her core.
She wants to feel the hands of love and neverending joy,
but like a broken doll she's been tossed out like a toy.
I wish this was a fairytale so happiness would stay,
but her life is just another time for her to have to pay.
