Difficult To Survive
Everything in life, I’ve done nothing but fail
Now I’m forced to walk a blood-stained trail
Unfortunately, I cannot bail.
The cold air pierces me to the bone
As I walk about the dark all alone
Where I’ve wandered to is unknown.
I’m bound by silver wire
My situation has become dire
I can’t move, I’m bound too tight
But don’t expect me to give up the fight
Alone in this cruel world, it’s difficult to survive.
Every strength you have, I lack
Now I’m forced to suffer your attack
Then you shove me on my back.
Kindness was in your eyes
But out of your mouth fell lies
I just can’t help but wonder why.
I’m locked in a lightless tomb
Where not even shadows dare to loom
One too many tears I’ve shed
One too many times I’ve bled
With no one to lean on, it’s difficult to survive.
Every word uttered was feign
Leaving me nearly slain
Or in constant torment and pain.
