So tonight I played basketball with random guys. It was fun... just a little bit awkward at first. But there was this one really cute and innocent guy. LOL. I straight up went up to him and said, "Heyy, so I might come back to play at the park sometime. How would I know if you're going to be here?" And he goes, "Oh righhtt. I'll give you my number." LMAO. He was so chill about it. I guess I was the only one giddy and excited to get his number. XD
ANYWAY... Practice was a killer today. We learned to play under SUPER tense pressure. Our coach told us we could not, for any reason, double fault. However, we need to get it between the cones. The cones were about a foot apart and down the center and it is a really hard serve to aim. He said if we cannot aim the ball between the cones and double fault, he would smack a ball at whoever makes the double fault super hard.. and our coach is really strong. There were about 7 girls to go up and serve. We each go one at a time and our coach is just stand right behind us with tennis balls ready to smack the server if she double faults. It was the most intense moment of my tennis career. 3 girls went before me and they all made it. I was up. I missed between the cones on my first serve and I had to lean on my second serve. I was so nervous because my coach kept talking about how much it was going to hurt if he hit the ball, etc. I ended up making it though. My heart was beating so fast when I served my second serve. I did NOT want to get hit by his smash. One out of the seven of us double faulted. She got smacked in the butt with his tennis ball. Ouch. I hate it when he puts that much pressure on us. I mean, come on. Let's be realistic. No one is ever going to smack us with a tennis ball if we double fault during a real game. NO ONE. It's unrealistic.
What else is happening. Oh yeah! Tomorrow morning I have a meeting. What kind of crap is that? A meeting on a Thursday and then a last minute car wash on Saturday. I hate my club, honestly. It's freaking time consuming and I do most of the work while the other officers are in it for their college applications.
I can't wait for our annual family camping trip! It's the biggest thing I look forward to in the summer. CAMP!
