I'm going to Comic Con in a couple of days. So awesome!
Okay, well, my friend's mom sent me an email to invite me to her daughter's b-day party. And well...I don't like her mom. Not one bit. So I of course was thinking "The nerve of that woman." She's always telling her daughter not to hang out with me or my friends and that we're bad influences because we don't listen to crappy Christian bands or the Jonas Brothers or go to church or anything.
Well, you know what? WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!
She has spent so much time keeping her children away from the world. Home schooling and such. It's about time her daughter finally got out of there to go to high school.
I really don't think it's right to keep her child from knowing the reality that is, not everybody is a Christian and is going to do the right thing. I'm a Christian, don't get me wrong, I do believe in God, but I know that there is some pretty dangerous s**t on the outside and trying to be protective isn't going to help. I don't always run to my mom and say, "Oh such and such did this today!" No. Of course not.
I'm just saying that her children should experience life to the fullest. No more home school, no more over protective-psycho Christian s**t.
Time to fly the coop.
