Note: This is the first poem I ever wrote. Not my best work but it was found to be a good one, so I got it published.
Forever
Remember the time we walked together,
When you said you'd stay forever.
But forever turned to never,
And you left my side,
For a life of leisure,
With nothing to hide.
But who am I kidding,
Just remember me
When your life turns to hell,
And Death comes
Ringin' his bell.
When the room turns silent,
And in a hole you lay,
By your side forever,
Shall I stay.
With us in heaven,
Our love is eternal,
But it's sad that you were not maternal.
With our lives at an end,
Please notify our next to kin.
