Jamie Lynn Spears is feeling pretty uncomfortable now that she’s nearing the end of her pregnancy.
“She’s feeling so large and just feeling all the discomfort that comes with it,” a source close to Jamie Lynn tells E! News.
The pregnant teen has also been hit with some mild cramps for the past two days, our insider says.
“Sounds like some false labor pains,” says the friend. “But nothing serious enough to go to the hospital over. They called her doctor, but everything’s fine.”
At least the pregnant teen has plenty of support…
Daddy Casey Aldridge is doing his best to make her feel better, rubbing her back when the cramps kick up, says our source. And her mom is at her side, pitching in with last-minute nursery decorating. But the humid summer heat plaguing Mississippi (where the parents-to-be own a home) isn’t helping. Even a brief trip outdoors leaves her sticky with sweat.
“Britney apparently called her recently and ordered her to stay inside, under the air conditioning, as much as possible,” the source says. “It was really cute.”
Britney and father Jamie have been calling regularly to check in on the mommy-to-be, who is expected to deliver at the end of this month. Unless, of course, the baby’s late.
“Jamie Lynn knows first babies have a habit of being late,” says the pal. “And she isn’t too happy about it. I think she’s ready for all this pregnancy stuff to be over and the mommy stuff to start.”

Jamie Lynn’s Baby Countdown!
As Britney Spears continues her recovery in L.A., her little sis, Jamie Lynn Spears and her boyfriend Casey Aldridge have been preparing for the arrival of their baby girl.
They’ve moved into their new home in Liberty, Miss., the town where Casey grew up and most of his family still lives. It’s only 30 minutes from Kentwood, where mom Lynne Spears lives at Serenity, the estate Britney owns and where Jamie Lynn was raised.
“Britney will almost certainly have to juggle some of her visitations with her kids while she’s off seeing her sister and new niece,” an insider tells OK!. “She’s not going to want to miss too many of those.”
But don’t think the singer isn’t chomping at the bit to meet her new little niece!
Sources say Brit is set to hop on a chartered jet as soon as she knows that Jamie Lynn, is in labor and has already packed her bags.
Ever since Britney, 26, made a quick visit to her hometown of Kentwood, La., on May 3 for her 17-year-old sister’s baby shower, the girls have been in regular contact, mostly texting, about the pending birth of Jamie Lynn’s baby girl.
While there are no plans for Britney to be in the delivery room, she hopes to make it to Louisiana before Jamie Lynn delivers.
“As soon as she knows Jamie Lynn is in labor, Britney and her dad will be on a plane,” a source close to the family tells OK!.

There is a new baby in the Spears clan! Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiancé Casey Aldridge welcomed a baby girl Thursday morning.
PEOPLE confirms exclusively that the baby was named Maddie Briann.
“Just the family was there,” says a source about the birth around 9:30 a.m. at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. “Everyone is healthy and happy.”
Jamie Lynn’s sister Britney, father Jamie and brother Bryan flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth; her mother Lynne had been with her helping her get ready for the baby.
Since announcing her pregnancy in December, Britney’s little sister has retreated from the bright lights of Hollywood, opting for the comforts of her hometown of Kentwood, La.
With her Nickelodeon show Zoey 101 already ended, Jamie Lynn went home to prepare for the birth of her baby. The actress, 17, and Aldridge, 19, got engaged in March. Recently, the couple purchased a three-bedroom home in Liberty, Miss., where Aldridge went to high school.
Over the last few months, Spears has kept busy by passing her GED exam, preparing the nursery and attending multiple baby showers.
Jamie Lynn’s Zoey 101 costar, Erin Sanders, told PEOPLE earlier this year that the actress will be a fun mother.
“She is just a very good-hearted and warm person,” she said. “We would always hang out on the set and she is a lot of fun, so I think she’s going to be an easygoing, fun mom."

Spears initially kept the news to herself when she learned of the pregnancy from an at-home test and subsequent doctor visit, she told the celebrity magazine.
“Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me,” she said.
Spears broke the news to her mother, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reported.
“She was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all,” Spears said. “A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”

Jamie Lynn Gives Birth to Baby Girl
Britney Spears has become an aunty, after her younger sister Jamie Lynn gave birth to a baby girl.
The baby was named Maddie Briann and weighed 3.49 kilograms, according to a friend of the Spears family, who asked not to be identified because the family had not yet announced the baby’s birth.
Spears gave birth at a south Mississippi hospital, but Ellen Brannan from the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Centre would not give out any details.
“We understand everybody’s interested, but we don’t give out information on anyone. Everyone’s entitled to their privacy,” she said.
Nickelodeon issued a statement about the birth, saying: “We wish her and her family well.”
Spears starred in Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101 children’s TV series.
The Spears family announced in December that 17-year-old Jamie Lynn was pregnant.The father is Casey Aldridge, a pipe-layer from Liberty, Mississippi.
The younger Spears lives near Liberty with Aldridge, 19, and has been seen around the small south Mississippi town often as her pregnancy became more apparent.
Her family owns a home across the state line in Kentwood, Louisiana.
Spears announced her pregnancy through an article in OK! Magazine and was expected to receive a large payday for exclusive pictures of the newborn.
