*Boom, boom, thud* Goes the beat of my heart.
I'm stuck in the dark, I search for the light.
I reach up to heaven, I look down at hell.
I knew this place oh to well.

I've been here before, I know the cold feel.
Drug down here by my heavy heart,
I scream "repeal repeal!"

"No more, no more, take me back to that place,
Where words are sweet, and people smile with grace.
Take me back!" I scream to the earth.
"I'm a prisoner of myself, a prisoner of words!"

Should I be imprisoned for trusting to much?
Should I be locked away because I felt safe?
Why not trust?
Why the fuss?
Why not believe we all shall be freed?

But take a minute, take a good look around.
Is this world safe? Is it sound?
Heck nah, I'll tell you that right now
Maybe I over dosed on fiction,
Maybe read to many fairytales.

I don't know, but I do know my hearts not for sale.
So maybe I should be the blame,
For my own heart ache, maybe I should be to blame,
For not taking a double take.

The world's going around,
And your ambitions are getting higher,
So sit back relax and trust only yourself,
And not anyone else’s desire.
