This is the moment I've been waiting for.
She told herself over and over again. Feelings of betrayal deeper than the ocean began surfacing as she forced herself to drive the blade deeper into his chest.
It was either him or me
a smile of vengance played across her lips, tainting her innocent eyes. The blood spatter across her cheek only added to the wrongness of her appearence.
Bloodshed wasn't her. Vengance wasn't her. The masachistic grin splayed across her face didn't seem like a concievable emotion to her mind. It was a coat that was a size too big. It was a sky without stars. It drowned her, turning her beauty into something fearsome.
This has to be done
She repeated the phrase to herself over and over again, conjuring memories of the man's treason. She kept filling herself with hate, and finally made her arm thrust deep into his chest.
Meanwhile, tears flowed from her eyes.
The plunged sword made sickening noises as it broke flesh, muscle, and bone. He stood motionless, accepting his fate with no protest. A cry escaped her lips, as she forced herself to plunge the blade deeper. Her eyes, although blinded by overwhelming tears, never left his face. Her teeth gritted together, still trying to feign vengance, attempting to seem brave as she killed the one she once called friend.
He fell to the ground, an eerie peace falling across his features, as if he'd been freed in death. She couldn't look away, and she couldn't remove the blade.
Her hand trembled on the hilt, and her shoulders slumped. A deepening stain spread across his shirt; a beautiful scarlet.

I have no idea why i wrote this. not really my style. i'm more of a 'massive bloodshed adn death' writer. not a 'paralyzed moment of tragedy'.
...i'm just good at more macabre stuff
you know, describing dead bodies and things. ^^
