Stages of life come in phases. It's time I stepped into a diffrent era as well. Leaving high school is... only glorious for a fleeting time before you come to realize something. You can't keep the same way of life anymore. You have to move on... grow up & be responsible. I was fine the first couple of days, having fun & sleeping in late. That didn't last though. I was basically feeling listless & depressed in a week. We've always had that test to take or a project to turn in all the while striving to make the grade. What was I to do with myself now? I didn't know. Soon I was begging my mother to let me get a job -anything to make me feel like I had a goal to work towards again. I see now that we're meant to have purposes & feel useful as apart of the world. This time off has helped me to realize that. I guess this was a way of God getting my attention to take life seriously before I go to college in September. I'm thankful I had this epiphany early & didn't let my youthfullness get to me later.
