Lept up into a wave of flight,
And never have I ever seen
A graceful man with eyes so mean.
He rose into the blood-red sky
And gave a horrid, mournful cry,
For had I known, I'd never say...
That man's one friend had died that day...
Building blocks of love and hate
Have brought us no where fast.
We put them up and tear them down.
They never seem to last.
The shrieking cries of peace and war
Are resonating still,
The blood now spilled upon the floor
for nothing but a thrill.
Have brought us no where fast.
We put them up and tear them down.
They never seem to last.
The shrieking cries of peace and war
Are resonating still,
The blood now spilled upon the floor
for nothing but a thrill.
Sit alone and cry a while,
then wipe away your tears.
Have a nice nightmare or two.
Succumb to all your fears.
Hold your breath and make a wish
you know will not come true,
then sit alone and cry again.
A loner, through and through.
