Wait. Another space to fill out?
My dog has more self-control than most womyn.
No really. Everyone should read this.

Since when did girls my age shed all self-control and common sense?

Wait, let me rephrase that.

Since when did ANY woman stop being feminine and start acting like a dog?

Last Friday, due to the excitement of me and my sister passing our entrance exams we decided to go to the roller rink. This is a fairly small town whereas in Orlando we could've gone downtown and enjoyed a play at the park stage. And probably gotten some ice cream and gone to the independent record store. Whereas this town has some simpler forms of fun for a Friday night like roller rinks, a go-cart track, mini golf and a skatepark. Hoping this time I wouldn't fall on my butt and enjoy going around in a circle for six hours and probably enjoy the fast paced music. I had gone to the roller rink in hopes of enjoying myself and spending time with my sister.

Of course, this place being only one of the very few places to entertain yourself, the place was packed. Several teenagers without ANY adult supervision except for two police officers who really didn't want to be there.

The hormones in the air where as thick as a brick.

I started looking around, of course there were groups of friends huddled together talking about what's what and who's with who and God knows what, when I see a scene I've only encountered in movies from my parent's era.

A boy and a girl. Together. Seperated from the herd, sharing an intimate moment. Holding hands, eyeing each other nervously as they talk about themselves, their interest and etc. When...

SKANKZILLA CRASHED THE SCENE.

It was obvious. This girl was someone you'd find 40 year old men giving their paychecks to. She wasn't exactly small in the breast department. She was a white, blonde, blue eyed, too much makeup, not enough clothes type of girl. In which I will use a word which is not familiar in my native language.

A skank.

Now, if you'll remember how two members of the opposite sex will encounter each other in those movies your grandparents love to watch, the guy'll come up to the girl. They'll both be really nervous and self-aware and start talking about the eather, school events, etc and the guy will eventually pop the question. The girl has two choices. She could either

A) Accept and get to know him better. Probably go steady with him and have a fun, joyous relationship.

B) Decline and wait for another boy to approach her.

Oh no.. Not these days.. Let me give you an example by telling you all what happened before my very eyes.

Forget words, Ashley McSkank pushes Emily Feminita out of the way so she can sit in Johnny Uninterested's lap and begins to hump him. Like a dog. She begins to jiggle her breasts infront of him throwing in what seems to be deemed "sexy" dialouge. Poor Johnny's confused and throws her out of his lap and goes back to Emily. Good for you Johnny, kick that ho to the curb.

Now, unfortunately, most guys don't have Johnny's self control and character. Hell, TV tells us men that we're nothing but sex driven pigs who want nothing but sex and that this is all we can be. No ladies, it's not OUR fault that we can't help but pay attention when one of you just so happens to shake your hips and we just stare and gawk. When you provoke a bear, it is going to react. It's as if I were hanging a 200 karat diamond necklace infront of... Oh say... Paris Hilton.

Now, let's say wanting this necklace is unacceptable and frowned down in this society. But Paris can't help but want the necklace, it's in her nature to want this necklace and wear it. So she is going to do whatever possible to get it. From /TRYING/ (I love you Brianne. whee heart ) to seduce me, from getting her manginas to beat me up and give it to her.

Sorry to break it to you Lifetime, not all of us men flow that way. Men are starting to wise up, women didn't always act like this.

Women used to be vulnerable, but not too vulnerable. They used to be approachable and easy to talk to. Nowadays if you're going to a bar, you'll see several womyn running up to whatever guy is the hottest or has the most money and start rubbing up against him like my dog when he's got that urge.

Now, men are getting frightened of this behavior. Finding other ways of finding women. American men have begun marrying more foreign women than women from English speaking countries. These women are kind, respectful, BEAUTIFUL, and they don't talk back and they cook a good meal. (But don't worry, for all of you who say that foreign women are being oppressed, you haven't seen my mother. She /KNOWS/ when she isn't being treated right and she'll let the rest of us know as well.)

Now this brings me to where people are going to think I'm a misogynistic b*****d. The problem isn't with the men, it's with the women.

Ladies, if you would just for once stop thinking that all men want is sex, then you wouldn't be losing the interest of men. First of all, men like to be RESPECTED. This makes the man feel masculine. He also likes it when a woman likes him for himself. Not his money, not his car, not his giant house, not his clothes, and not because he will make all her girlfriends jealous. Finally, he does not like to be manipulated, he doesn't want to be offered sex for his dignity.

Also, for anyone who thinks I hate American/Canadian/English women. I don't. I am deeply in love with Brianne. (Who most of you know as Mayumi Tenishi or Mizoko) She is probably one of the most feminine women I have met in a really long time. She respects me and always has an attentive ear to what I say. I wrote this entry because I miss feminine behavior behavior in English women. Also, because I was tired of having girls come up to me and flirt with me even after I tell them I have a girlfriend. Once they know that, they don't even bother to acknolwedge her existance until I pull out my wallet and show them a picture of her. Even after that, some will continue to flirt with until I tell them how I feel for Brianne, why she makes me feel that way, and the reason why I love her instead of them.

Teh edn.

Now I'm going to go watch Judy Garland.

EDIT: And go get the new Ayreon album. It's gonna rock.

The problem isn't just with women, nor is it just with men. It's with both genders, and it's about time that everybody admits it. Blaming it on one or the other don't work.

And yes, Clara could be more feminine. But she's not a slut, and she doesn't want men. And she's thirteen. So it all balances out. mad

Clara has plenty of time to grow.

SJL just wishes he could stop being so thin and tall. ):

What does being feminine have with being a slut? Explain.

    Promiscuity knows no gender.
I think Clara is saying she is not either extreme.

You said be more feminine, and you also said that sluts are not feminine, so yeah. Sluts are not femine according to SJL?

@MTQ: Yeah, you're right. I'm just scared of human beings tackling each other and acting like animals. gonk

@Clara: I never ORDERED anyone to be more feminine. It's up to you whichever way you want to act, but what I'm saying is that most people arn't going to be fond of you if you're going to act a certain way.

Yes, I do not consider them to be feminine. But that's just me.

You're really starting to come into your own as a writer, which is cool. Get a job at Rolling Stone some day and I'll read whatever pretentious s**t you can come up with. But more to the point, it's about time that a real man weighed in on this. I haven't because really, I stay out of that scene for the most part, I concentrate on the big stuff. This is your scene and your strength.

I've never really looked or acted the part of the guy that gets all this attention from women like that or most women, which is perfectly fine with me. I'm picky, I want something very specific in a relationship and a partner. Basically I want someone that I'm ridiculously compatible with, and right now I've got that with BE.

I've officially got your back, I approve of what you have to say. Just remember that while you and Miz may be the darlings of AMC, Spider/BE are the true power couple.

I already applied at Rolling Stone and Guitar World magazine. Both declined because I told readers to stop listening to Josh Mayer and listen to Sufjan Stevens. Who, by the way has a new album coming out, Illinoise.

Thanks. Though I'd rather be known for my skills as a musician and composer.

There seems to be an agreed upon standard for most women in America today and that happens to be a guy who's rich, hot, has all the connection, and will allow himself to be pulled around by the pants. Often times women who are not in the shape as the guys they fantasize over. This is pretty apparent in both sexes so I'll label it as a lack of common sense.

Just when I thought the rants were over... BOOM!

Well-written, and exactly what I was thinking. These days I have a rather strong dislike for my gender in general, and this is the reason why. Girls today have no idea what men really want. Someimes it's okay to be a bit slutty... in the bedroom. But not out in public, not where people can see you whoring around.

I just wonder how ashamed our grandparents are of our generation.

PS I love you, too, Sebby!

Alot of people seem to have the misinformed idea that their generation invented sex. In any given time period, premarital sex and whores were common.

    comment MahouTragicQueen · Community Member · Tue Aug 09, 2005 @ 04:59am
Of course it was there but by time of the 1970s is when the outbreak of sexual liberation/free sex came about, making sex from being a hush hush subject into something that we talk about daily.

So yeah, it was always there, it's just that now in the open alot more than it was in previous decades.

Women don't have to be feminine to be not-slutty/gross.

    Oh, and very well written.

    Follow the little blue link,
    follow the little blue link,
    follow follow follow follow,
    follow the little blue link~.

Had to get that out of my system; I didn't expect something serious when I curiously clicked the link in your sig.

Anyways, yeah, I've noticed girls act like that. However, I've also noticed guys acting very slutty too. So like I think one person already commented, it's definitely not limited to one gender. I've heard horror stories from a lot of my female friends as well. And like it's also already been said, sluttiness isn't equal to a lack of femininity either.

However, both genders frustrate me in how they handle this: confused appreciation. I have guy friends who feel flattered but uncomfortable when a slut likes them, and girl friends who whine to me about how some creep bothered them. But neither group ever does anything. I'd like to see more people be able to say, "back off."

For example, it pisses me off when a girl says a guy started massaging her butt while dancing, and that creeped her out, but that she didn't do or say anything. More people need to be able to speak their minds. A kudos goes out to the guy who shoved the ho' off of his lap, and to you for sticking by your gal.

You nailed it SJL. On the head. No mess ups. No redos. Flawlessly.

Some people wonder and ask me why I am more attracted to the women of China and Japan. This is exactly why.

Thank-you for that, I hate when the media portrays men as only thinking about sex because then I'm thinking "Well, what are us not-as-hot-as-supermodel women going to do?" I'm also glad that you yelled at skanky women: thousands of years of fighting for civil rights, and half of the girls just strip.
